In summer especially, the weather is so hot that people do not want to go out under the sun. And coconut jelly is deemed as a remedy for lessening the heat. The benefits of coconut jelly.
Facial
The researchers pointed out that the cytokinin found in coconut water helps skin cells’s growth . Besides, the coconut water contains lauric acid can reduce the aging of skin cells , balance the PH and keep skin moisturized.
Weight loss
Coconut water is a natural electrolyte beverage which helps to enhance the body’s metabolism . So , it is very beneficial for those who are struggling with weight issues .
Cardiovascular Health
According to the researchers , those who have high blood pressure usually have low potassium levels . So , drinking coconut water regularly can be quite effective in regulating blood pressure due to high concentrations of potassium and lauric acid .

How to make coconut jelly
1. Use a sharp and heavy cleaver to cut a large hole in the top of the coconut. Open the lid and remove juice from the coconut. Still the juice to settle the dregs
2. Pour clear juice into a small saucepan, add agar-agar powder and sugar. Mix well and bring to a boil and lower the heat. Remove the foam.
3. Pour the mixture back to the coconut shell till 2/3 full. Chill to let the jelly partially set.
4. Bring the rest of juice to the stove. Add the coconut milk/cream and simmer on low heat.
5. When the jelly in the coconut shell is slightly set (the surface is firm and bouncy), pour the coconut milk mixture on top. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours to set completely. Serve cold.
