Tre is the mutual food of Hue, Quang Nam and Da Nang. Athough it is food for the poor, many people are attacted. The local people usually enjoy it as an intergral dish of drinking. It is not easy to forget its tasty just after trying once.

Tre is make from cheap material of pig: ear, nose, skin, lean and fat moved. That is the reson why it is food for the poor. However, Tre in many generation of local people is a speciality food and become a value present for relatives. Therefore, it is not difficult to find out it through Viet Nam now.

Sour of meat is mixed with galingable. Galingable makes pork more flavour; moreover it helps deal with indigestion and flatulent. Strong smell of galingable, garlic, fat of sesame, light sweet and sour of fermented meat, guava leaves combined and make a particular smell of central VietNam.

Tre Ba De is a famous brand of Tre in Da Nang. It is a family name which found in 1956 and now it has branches in Ha Noi, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh.

Some packages of Tre tied together and hang on next to the above and avaible beer for guest is a crucial part of Vietnamese culture in Lunna New Year.

Ingredients:
• 1 kg pork ear
• 1 kg head meat of pig and ham
• 100g galingale
• 100 dried-rice flour
• Guava and banana leaves
• 100g sesame
• Fish sauce, sugar, Seasoning powder, black pepper.
• Gridle cake
• Salad, cucumber, herbs

Preparation:
• Boil pork ear, head meat, ham then cut into bite size. Them marient it with galingable, garlic, pepper, spicy and mix to have well-combined.
• Add dried-rice flour into it and mix
• Weap all the leaves. Put guava inside banana leaves, then put 2 spoon mixture on and roll then tie it . Each package takes 0.2 kg. It takes 3 days and 2 nights to be ready.
• It is more delicious when served with gridle cake and sweet-sour fish sauce.
